Very nice campground, not very easy to find (missed the sign) we stayed there for 5 nights. very friendly and calm place in June. we got a place direct by the lake, what was very nice. we enjoyed this place very much. one of the best campgrounds we visited.
we recommend this place to every camper.
Family friendly campground
We have made the trip to Manitoulin Island and Batman’s Campground every summer for the past three years. Our family loves everything about this campground, including the gorgeous beach, the park, clean amenities and of course the slushees at the store/office. Lisa and Andre do an excellent job at ensuring guest satisfaction!
Stayed for 7 days. Nice older style campground. Met some really nice people, (Go see Bob, site 34A for charter fishing or sightseeing). Had small issue with getting trailer into our site, we had a 30', and was a very tight squeeze, should of read the website better when booking I guess, advertised it would fit "up-to" 30', but sadly better suited for smaller. Staff were accommodating and helped us get trailer in and out. Great beach, and clean washrooms, yet oddly, the showers in the south end washrooms were extremely small. Good location to do day trips around Manitoulin, and staff were always friendly. Beach was great, all sand and clean. Most sites are private with lots of trees. Most campgrounds we've been too offer extra activities for kids, didn't see anything advertised for the week we were there though. Will try other campgrounds on our next visit to Manitoulin.
Beautiful part of the world
Had a great spot right on the lake. Water and electricity at the pull through site. Quiet and peaceful. Well kept and staff was very helpful. We brought our motorcycles and toured Manitoulin Island as they have spectacular scenery and mostly good roads. Stopped at the local brewery for a beer and a burger. Pricey but good. Don't forget to stop at Bridal Veil Falls.
