These policies have been implemented to ensure everyone has a comfortable and safe stay with us.
This is a Family Park and the rights of all campers to enjoy peace and quiet are to be respected.
Quiet Time is 11:00 p.m. till 8:00 a.m.
No Music, No Loud Voices
No Generators permitted
No Exceptions - Zero Tolerance
- Water should be conserved at all times. No washing of vehicles.
- No Firearms, Fireworks including firecrackers are permitted while on the property
- Foul language and swearing are strictly prohibited.
CHILDREN & VISITORS
- All visitors must be registered at the office upon entering the park.
- The park is privately owned, if we don’t know you are here it’s called trespassing.
- If your visitor remains in the park past the complimentary hour and doesn’t pay, your account will automatically be charged.
SWIMMING & PLAYGROUND
- Users of the playground, beach and swimming areas do so at their own risk as these areas are unsupervised.
- Children MUST be accompanied and supervised at all times when near the lake and playground.
ALCOHOL
- No glass allowed on beach or in the playground area.
- Alcohol beverages other than at your campsite can be consumed while on property, if not made obvious to others (ex. Placed in plastic cups, thermos, coolies, etc.).
SMOKING
All of the buildings are non-smoking and have a place outside to deposit cigarette butts. Please be considerate of your cigarette butts.
CAMPFIRES
NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD PERMITTED. HELP US TO PROTECT OUR TREES FROM THE TRANSMISSION OF INSECTS. www.inspection.gc.ca/english/plaveg/for/prod/firee.shtml
- Campfires are allowed in existing fire pits only and must be attended to at all times.
- All campfires should be extinguished before you leave or retire for the evening.
- Do not move the fire pits as it damages the lot
- Fire wood is for sale at the store

- Cutting or removing trees, hedges, shrubs, undergrowth or any vegetation from any areas in the campground is not permitted without management’s permission.
VEHICLES
- Speed limit in the park is 10 km.ph/6 mph. Please be careful of the kids.
- Limit of one vehicle only per lot, your boat, boat trailer or your car, truck, etc
- Please unload or load and remove the extra vehicles in the parking lot provided.
- Please park on your own lot or in the parking lots available, not across the
street, not in your neighbor’s driveway and not on the street.
- No dirt bikes, smaller motorcycles, ATV’S, mini bikes etc. permitted within the park boundaries
- No golf carts allowed without owner’s approval.
- Management is not responsible for property lost, stolen or damaged.
BICYCLES
- Ages 15 years and under MUST wear their helmet.
- All riders must respect the speed limits of the park and no riding after dark without a light.
PETS
We are a pet friendly establishment where dogs are to be on a leash at all times. They are not permitted on the beach or in the swimming areas. There is a large upper field beside the driveway to let them run and there is an area that they can swim in the water. Constantly barking dogs are not permitted and owners are required to immediately pick up after their pet. Waste is to be put in a securely tied plastic bag and deposited into the garbage container.
GARBAGE & RECYCLING
- All garbage and recycling must be dropped off at the waste disposal area.
- Help us to protect the environment, by recycling. Please separate all items before placing them in the labeled bins for recycling. Glass, plastic and cans.
- This area is located behind the workshop.
- Disposal of large articles of garbage such as fridges, furniture, bicycles, BBQs, beds, etc are your responsibility and expense. They are not to be left here.
- Please see management regarding oversized items and where to dispose of them.
Batman’s Cottages and Campground are not liable for any infractions of the rules & regulations while on this private property.

Cancellation and Change Policies

Cottages
All cottages require a deposit at the time of booking by Visa or MasterCard.
All reservations must be made by the person whose name appears on the credit card.
Minimum 2 night reservation - $100.00 deposit
1 week reservation- $300.00 deposit
Cottage deposits are required at the time of booking by using Visa or MasterCard. These deposits are fully refundable if cancelled before Feb 1st of that camping season. As of Feb. 1st the deposit is non- refundable nor transferable.
Full payment (minus the deposit) is due 30 days prior to arrival and is non – refundable. If full payment is not received 30 days prior to arrival the reservation is considered a cancellation. The deposit is non – refundable.

Changes and Cancellations for Campsites
Changes to reservations:
No changes permitted within 7 days prior to your arrival date.
Minor Change (consists of 2 days and under of a reservation);
Addition of days- no change fee
Altering your reservation by 1 or 2 days – a $9.00 change fee will apply
Major Changes (consists of over 2 days and not exceeding 6 days of a reservation) – 20% of the campsite day rate for the changed days, the non- refundable deposit and a $9.00 change fee will apply.
If you alter 7 or more days of an existing reservation it will be considered a cancellation and the deposit is non- refundable. Please see cancellation policy for further charges.

Cancellation Policy
Campsites:
All cancellations must be sent in writing to our e-mail address; info@batmanscamping.com
Cancelling- 30 days and over before arrival date; deposit retained as cancellation fee
Cancelling- 8 to 29 days before arrival date; 1 night camping fee charged and deposit retained.
Cancelling- 7 days to the day before arrival date; 2 nights camping fee charged and deposit retained.
Cancelling on arrival day; would be considered the same as a “No Show”.
No Show; If you haven’t contacted us your site will be held for you till 1:00 p.m. the next day and then made available to other campers. You will be charged 2 nights camping, deposit retained and 50% charge on the remainder of your reservation.
*All above charges do not include tax.
For reservations for 1 month or more;
A 30 % non- refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is to be paid in full 2 weeks prior to arrival and is non-refundable. If payment is not received 2 weeks before arrival date it is considered a cancellation. The deposit is non- refundable and please see cancellation policy for further charges.
